Care
Wipe the shell down with a damp cloth and let it dry in the open. Hand wash the mat. Empty and dry it fully at the end of a wet spell — a shelter that stays damp inside is worse than no shelter at all.
Using it outdoors
Put it somewhere sheltered with the doorway facing away from prevailing wind and rain, and against a wall if you can. Check it after storms. In hard frost, add an insulating pad rather than a blanket — blankets absorb moisture and freeze.
